Flat nº 442

This flat belongs to an amazing couple with very good taste in art and design.

This is half of the work done for a designer, since we can speak to them in the same page.

The design process was very easy and we where working together since they add very cool and practical ideas that we design and implement.

Our performance in this bedroom was to change an untidy space to a more practical and visual cleaning one.

We had an open closet and too many furniture in the same space.

Our main interaction here was to close the wardrobe and make a upper organisation space that matches with the rest of the doors and closets on the house.

We also add in-built lamps with warm luminosity that illuminate the wardrobe and the shelves inside and also can be left opened to create an ambient light.

Closet wardrobe

Here we can see the wardrobe when is closed. The idea was to design something that seems to belong here all the time.

Open wardrobe

When open we can see the existing shelves and how the space was without the closed wardrobe.

This space needed to be an office most of time and a guest bedroom during a month in summer. So in this case we designed an in-built bed, that when is closed can’t be seen or understood has a bed.

The office table, small shelves where also bespoke in same oak wood as wood bed. The library is in lacquered white wood to create some contrast.

We also customised a Nanimarquina rug with an XXL size.

Here we can see the same room but with the open bed.

This space was also an office at home that we reorganised and designed so the client could feel better while working. The decor was eclectic and artistic which reflect the client’s personality.

The main interaction was to closed the space adding a door that isolates the sound and makes the space more cosy and easy to work. This door was made by our father’s carpenter with old time techniques.
